TPD: Man stabbed during private party at the Elks Lodge
A 19-year-old man was stabbed multiple times Sunday morning during a private party at the Elks Lodge, 276 N. Magnolia Drive, according to Officer David McCranie, spokesman for the Tallahassee Police Department.

Florida Police?
My hubby and I are thinkin of moving to Florida (Tallahassee Area) so I can go to med school. He is currently an Alabama certified Police Officer but not working as a P.O. right now because the pay is so low in our area (we literally ended up in bankruptcy) but I know that the FSU area pays more.
My concern is that he has been out since November and he is Alabama certified. I am trying to make this transition after Spring Semester. How hard is it going to be to find a great Police Department near FSU?
I Think I’ve Given Up?
So i just recently moved to tallahassee from a small town in KY and i just feel like i don’t know what i want…i can’t find any gay men here that i would want to be in a relationship with (i really only know one my R.A.) and all the girls here seem like their sluts and the one girl i thought i wanted to be in a relationship seemingly avoids me all the time now…so here goes. for girls i asked her out on a date and after that she just kindof avoided me but said she wasnt freaked out by me asking her out on a date when i confronted her about it, what does this mean? for gay or bi guys- where should i go in town to find gay men? i’m pretty sure there aren’t gay clubs and i’m kindof afraid to go to our LGBT organization b/c its in a random building and idk how they could help me
