Can I Take Ibuprofen And Simple Over The Counter Equate Allergy Medicine Together?

i woke up this morning to a quite painful sore throat. I usually get these when season change comes around but the one i had this morning kept me up. I recently moved to Tallahassee for school so maybe i’m reacting different.
I took 2 ibuprofen today before class and they made my day 100% better i couldn’t ask for anything better after what i had experienced this morning. My nose is still runny and i do have some gross crap in my throat, would it be safe ok to take an antihistamine in conjunction with ibuprofen? i just want to get rid of the runny nose.

    Yes it’s fine.

    Yes, this is fine. The antihistamine will dry things up for you and the ibuprofen will act as an anti-inflammatory and pain killer. I am a nurse.
