Crews battle house fire in Tallahassee

Firefighters are on the scene of a house fire in Tallahassee Tuesday morning. The Tallahassee Fire Department says they responded to a house fire on the 2300 block of Eisenhower Street shortly before 6:30am. They say the owner of the home woke up at 6am, saw smoke in the house and had to crawl out of a bathroom window.

Four arrests have been made in connection with area bank robberies. Tallahassee Police, with the help of U.S. Marshals Service, Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Florida A&M University Police Department, arrested four suspects in connection with five robberies that occurred last year.
